My Acting Progress.. Hmm

Okay. Movies are being filmed like crazy in Atlanta which is a good thing for me. So I've been really working on getting a speaking role which is pretty damn hard to get and do. It seems like those who know people wont help you, and those who don't know people can't help you lol...Seriously. I've been submitting for extra work just to network and try to stand out from the crowd. Last week I did extra work for Survivors's Remorse that LeBron is producing. I did get a chance to meet Tichina Arnold and Mike Epps..well I doubt that they noticed me because I was walking behind them while we we're filming, but I was literally behind them...I could actually step on their shoes and they could of possible trip. It went well and I was excited but more excited if I had a speaking role. I think a lot of people do extra work just to be around the celebrities and try to get in the camera, but I want to do more than that. I want to have a main role and perfect my craft as an ac-tor *in my British voice* No luck yet.. but I'm going to continue to work hard because the sky is the limit and I'm so determined to accomplish my dreams, and I will document my journey. I have some pictures of my fiancee' and I on a movie set as extras in which he enjoyed so much :)

I've been a fan of Young Lyric since 2010 and her growth is amazing. Young Lyric aka Lyrikkal started rapping when she was 9, but you could never guess it listening to her rhymes. The way flows on the beat is outstanding for a young artist like Young Lyric. Lyric has over 40 videos on Youtube showcasing her skills, and I still can't believe she's hasn't been signed unless they're keeping it on the low. Lyrikkal has a new single called 2Fresh 2Fly. In the new single she raps about her high grades and outstanding achievements as well as what's fly to her. The single is something I can play in the car with my son or dance to at the club. Young Lyric is showing these rappers that you don't have to curse and use profanity to make a hit record. I hope she shuts these rappers down in the game.. You Go Girl... New Artist AlerT !!! Love Dollhouse :)

                           

                           Love Dollhouse is the first group off of All Def Digital records. 

                      The three beautiful ladies Ryan, Jasmine, and Chelsea are 19 and 

                     from Detroit Michigan. These ladies are giving me Life... and 90's at 

                     the same damn time. Yasss!!!! Love Dollhouse just dropped their video 

                     for their Official single Can I. The video showcases their

                              laid back dancing skills and beautiful harmony.

                       and they shared a lot of information.

Watch Out For New Artist Ballad !!!

So I was washing the dishes when I heard "Love Me Down" on the radio, but when I begin to listen to the lyrics I knew it was an updated version. The artist behind this wonderful rendition is new artist Ballad. Ballad's vocals are amazing on Love Me Down and he's getting rave reviews according to R&B chronicles.

I can't wait to see what he has up his sleeve... Hmm???

Beyonce Petition to comb Blue Ivy's hair

Okay! so this petition on Change.org to comb Blue Ivy's hair is beyond RIDICULOUS. I feel like those who organized and signed that petition need to petition on other major things going on in the world beside Beyonce. I see children everyday and their hair is damaged, broken, and not properly taken care of by their parents. Okay she may be worth half a billion dollars but so f***** what... I didn't know it was rules to going natural, and hair guidelines. I hate how women in particular criticize other women for stupid reasons. Everyone wants their 15 mins of fame, but you don't realize that we're all human at the end of the day. People are always going in on Beyonce, but years ago when we didn't have social media we didn't have problem like this. People need to focus on their own problems and drama. 

Becoming an Actress

Ok. So I had an epiphany about becoming an actress a few years ago, and I decided to go for it. I moved from North Carolina to Atlanta thinking that I was going to be Tyler Perry's next big star. Hmm okay so I forgot that Atlanta is like... 90% African Americans. How in the hell was Tyler Perry going to discover me, or how was I going to get discovered. I looked for casting calls on Craigslist, southern casting call, and model mayhem just to find some type of work. I purchased expensive head shots trying to make sure that I had everything that I needed to impress the casting directors. 
  
 I had so many NO's and maybe a one or two call backs for extra roles, but I started to second guess myself. How can I stand out from everyone, and be different? What are the casting directors looking for? How can I audition for speaking roles instead of extra role? How can someone noticed me? Is this something that I really want?  

I want to show case my talent to the world, but I think maybe right now isn't my time yet, or maybe it's time that I put in more work into my craft.... I will keep you updated
